This song came about after watching an old Jimmy Stewart Movie where he was looking up at the Moon wondering if his son, in the movie, was looking at the moon at the same time as he was. "Lookin at the Moon" was my first completed song that I ever wrote and, being that, it holds a special place in my life and has special memories.

Sometimes we tell someone too soon how we feel about them and they can't handle it. They feel undeserving and they don't really believe that someone could feel that way about them. I guess Patience is a Virtue.

Here I am looking at the moon.
Wondering if you're looking there too.
Here I am wondering such
That maybe I just loved you too much

Now I know I told you too soon
That I was in love with you
You ran away cause it scared you so much
I guess I was just out of touch

Here I am looking at the moon.
Wondering if you're looking there too.
Here I am wondering such
That maybe I just loved you too much

It's been a while since you've been gone
But you know it really hasn't been that long
It seems like just the other day
We had so many things to say

Here I am looking at the moon.
Wondering if you're looking there too.
Here I am wondering such
That maybe I just loved you too much

Now we don't hardly talk at all
You've been gone since the fall
You know this ain't no way to be
You aren't being very nice to me

Refrain

Well now, I got to go
Thought you might like to know
That I'll be moving on
Maybe you should hope I won't be gone too long

Here I am looking at the moon.
Wondering if you're looking there too.
Here I am wondering such
That maybe I just loved you too much

So here I am ready to go
Thinking maybe you'll come back I know
And maybe then we can get in touch
And maybe I won't love you so much
(Repeat and fade)
